Binayak Sen lives with his wife Banani, and his younger daughter Tapti in Dhaka, Bangladesh. His elder daughter Debattama is currently a Principal Investigator at Massachusetts General Hospital and Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School after completing her PhD in Immunology. Debattama and her husband Sean currently live in Boston. Tapti is in her first year Amherst College studying law, jurisprudence, and social thought (LJST).
