Binayak Sen lives with his wife, Banani, in Dhaka, Bangladesh. His elder daughter, Debattama, is currently a Principal Investigator at Massachusetts General Hospital and an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School after completing her PhD in Immunology at Harvard University and BS in Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University. Debattama and her husband Sean currently live in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Tapti graduated from Amherst College, having studied law, jurisprudence, and social thought (LJST). She is currently completing her Master’s in Political Science at the University of Chicago.
