Binayak Sen lives with his wife Banani in Dhaka, Bangladesh. His elder daughter Debattama is currently a Principal Investigator at Massachusetts General Hospital and Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School after completing her PhD in Immunology in Harvard University. Debattama and her husband Sean currently live in Cambridge. Tapti is in her final year Amherst College studying law, jurisprudence, and social thought (LJST).
